The Centre for Energy Ethics Postdoctoral Fellowship is a 1-year award offered to an outstanding early career researcher working on issues of energy ethics in the arts, humanities, social or natural sciences.

The postdoctoral fellowship is open to applicants of early career status. There is no age criterion for the fellowship. Instead, eligible applicants are expected to be at an early stage in their career.

This is defined as holding, or being about to be awarded, a PhD on 1 June 2023 and having received their PhD no earlier than 1 June 2020.

Exemption from this criterion may be granted for reasons occurring after the date of the Viva Voce examination (PhD defence) such as:
maternity or paternity leave, illness, family commitments, etc.

You must be able to engage critically and creatively with relevant theoretical and conceptual frameworks within your discipline and beyond.

You should have strong communication and organisational skills with a passionate interest and expertise in carrying out research. You should be able and willing to work in a team and contribute to Centre events and publications.
