Design Coordinator (Data Centre)

Salary:
£45k - £50k + Car allowance + Benefits

Remarkable Jobs have partnered with a leading RC framework construction company, to support the recruitment of a Design Coordinator (Data Centre).


'Design Coordinator (Data Centre)' Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow and support contract controls / procedures to meet obligations and manage risk
  • Produce detailed information; required schedules and information delivery plans for timely issue to the client and designer
  • Ensure planning matters are discharged and Building Control approvals received
  • Manage the configuration of the CDE with the direction of the Sr Design Team.
  • Understand the project Procurement Strategy and ensure design is executed in a manner to permit the implementation of that strategy
  • Ensure the designers are issued and understand the procurement programme / tender event schedule and the delivery programme.
  • Ensure the design team members are working in accordance with agreed and appropriate project specific Quality Plans
  • Responsibility for tracking and forecasting against the design programme and for providing accurate information to the Project Manager
  • Provide support to the design management function and be a focus for design information and knowledge.

'Design Coordinator (Data Centre) Key Skills:

  • Relevant Degree qualification and / or industry experience
  • Membership of RIBA, ICE, CIOB is desirable
  • Experience of coordinating, managing and providing Technical guidance.
  • Demonstrate a understanding of the planning process
  • Ability to carry out the interrogation of enquiry documents, in the form of an Employers' Requirements.
  • Ability to manage the process of fully investigating value engineering and value creation opportunities
  • Design and Engineering Construction knowledge
  • Technical and Building Construction knowledge
  • Knowledge of current building regulations
  • Knowledge of H&S / CDM regulations

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
£40,000.00-£50,000.00 per year
