11-month fixed term maternity cover. A minimum of 3 years practical finance experience is required. Individuals should be immediately available with a view to starting in post on 1st July. Past exposure to SUN Accounting would be advantageous. Hybrid working is available.
As the Finance Assistant your role will entail:
- Posting direct debits and direct debit rejections in a timely and accurate manner.
- Reconciling and posting bank account receipts and payments.
- Downloading and importing payments received on a daily basis.
- Raising BACS payments, ensuring department codes are accurate and entering journals into finance system.
- Processing expenses.
- Ensuring all system postings are uptodate in advance of month end deadline including additional postings.
- Bank reconciliations.
- Updating and maintaining records.
