Description
School Kitchen Assistants are required in the Leeds area.
-
Shifts -_ _part time_hours between Mon-Fri, between 09:30-13:30_
-
Pay rate-_ £11.75 to £12.22 per hour including holiday.


Responsibilities for Kitchen Assistants:


  • Assisting with the preparation of ingredients
  • Helping with cooking, baking, and food assembly
  • Ensuring food is served promptly and in accordance with dietary requirements
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen
  • Assisting with stock control and ordering supplies

Requirements:


  • DBS Enhanced is essential to work in educational settings. _THE CHILDREN'S BARRED LIST MUST BE REQUESTED_
  • Previous experience in a similar role (preferably in a school or catering environment)
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and safety regulations
  • Ability to work efficiently and follow instructions
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • A genuine passion for food and a positive attitude
