The Company Overview:


Butler Rose are partnered with a fantastic business with a turnover of £150 million+ who are looking to recruit a Group Accountant to join their team based at their head office in the South Lakes.

The business has seen huge growth and are looking to addadditional headcount into the established team with this role and a management accountant role.


Your new role as Group Accountant:

Reporting into an experienced financial controller you will be providing an analytical review of profit and loss accounts, providing a point of contact for supplier liaison in relation to invoices and financial queries and manage payments in an appropriateand timely manner.


Key duties will include:
Reporting and Analysis; improving reporting format and process for monthly review

Upgrade full MI pack for review each month with detailed analysis

Full overhead, central cost, variance analysis, balance sheet and working capital analysis

KPI dashboard

Planning to expand forecasting capabilities; 5 year plan to be updated, kept up to date and extended

Implementation of new software for forecasting

Make improvements to budget process; update order and timing of budget process

Create budgeting model for budget discussion with senior management

Improvements to cashflow forecasting

Opportunity to get involved in site operations and improving processes for greater efficiency

Contribution to ESG project


The Experience & Qualifications Required:

Qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA

Attention to detail and strong organisation skills

Strong Excel skills
