Marketing Executive


This is a wonderful opportunity for a marketing Executive to join a lovely Marketing team and the wider team for my client who are one of the largest business groups in the UK, representing their industry.

This role is Hybrid
- working 2 days in the officeand other days from home or at events.


The role will be to:


Provide support to, and collaborate with members of the Marketing department to deliver the B2B marketing plan and its associated targets.

Design, deliver and manage integrated campaigns to support a portfolio of products and services.

Work with senior stakeholders in the business to drive insight and business planning, and develop the right marketing support.

Management of 'always-on' media channels to grow brand awareness.

Content and collateral creation and management.

Campaign monitoring, analysis and reporting.


Responsibilities:


Own and create innovative B2B marketing plans and campaigns, taking particular care to define the audience, market and product/service proposition, in order to meet targets, primarily to generate warm leads for the business development team.


Help drive the business planning and product development process with your business areas through regular meetings, research, analysis and insight.


Manage the implementation, tracking, measurement and post campaign analysis of marketing campaigns, providing reports as directed, particularly paying attention to lead-gen and ROI.


Put forward marketing recommendations and opportunities for your business areas to senior stakeholders and other members of the marketing department.

Ensure all promotions are compliant with regulations and meet best practice guidelines.


Collaborate with colleagues to maximise use and ensure relevant targeting of member/prospect database for campaigns and 'always-on' media, ensuring compliance with data protection laws.

Develop creative assets and research material, and write, edit and proofread copy ensuring accuracy and relevance.

Ensure all campaigns are delivered on time and to budget.


Collaborate with the Digital Team to make improvements to content on company website to enhance campaigns and drive leads and sales.

Collaborate with the PR Team to leverage PR as appropriate for integrated campaigns.

Collaborate with the Events team to deliver delegates at appropriate events and shows as part of their integrated campaigns.

Provide support to and assist in execution of marketing campaigns of the Marketing Managers.


Ideal Person:

Have some marketing background/exposure but this is maybe your first true marketing role after graduating.

Proactive and confident, able to manage expectations and competing demands and happy to push back on particular tasks etc.

Good understanding of cost and effectiveness of marketing activity.


Understanding of digital marketing channels within integrated marketing campaigns (PPC, display, social - especially LinkedIn) to generate leads and sales.

Use of Google Analytics and CRM for marketing reporting.

Excellent communication and people skills.

Outstanding attention to detail with strong copywriting, proofing, and editing skills.

Creative flair and passion for great marketing.

Able to prioritise work on own initiative, working to tight deadlines.

Proactive and problem-solving approach.

Inquisitive nature.

Team player who is highly organised and with first class attention for detail.

Proven ability to analyse data and draw out actionable insights.

Full driving licence, some travel will be required.
