We are looking for an enthusiastic and friendly part-time new team member to join our Practice as a receptionist and administration assistant.

Approximately hours a week.


The Bridge Podiatry Clinic has provided foot care and medical services to patients in Cheshire since it was first established in 2002.

At present, the Clinic has a team of three podiatrists and one administration assistant, with whom you will be working alongside.


You will be required to take appointments for the clinical staff along with general duties to help facilitate the smooth running of the clinic.

You must be able to use your initiative whilst also willing to learn new skills and information.


Essential requirements:

  • Impressive interpersonal skills and the ability to make each prospective and current patient feel special.
  • Flexible approach and productive manner to all work tasks
  • Strong customer service skills with peoplecentric approach.
  • Motivated and committed to help drive a small business forward.
  • To be able to follow protocols and instructions from the Managing Director and other members of the team.
  • The ability to prioritise and organise your workload.
  • Able to handle sensitive situations and information confidentially and discreetly.
  • Ability to engage with potential patients to facilitate bookings.
  • Accuracy and a good eye for detail.
  • A positive attitude towards the role, environment and other team members.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Patient bookings for Clinic and Domiciliary appointments.
  • Call Handling.
  • Admin and back office tasks.
  • Cleaning the Practice surface areas, floors and bathrooms.
  • Ordering and display of products ready for purchase.
  • Making patients feel welcome and prepared for appointments.
  • Taking card and cash payments from patients.
  • Scheduling calls and appointments.
  • Promoting other services at the Clinic.
  • General administrative tasks.

Additional Duties:
(For 4 hours Tuesday morning )

  • To maintain and review Health and Safety policies.
  • Managing clinic reports
  • Updating team training records
  • Updating and managing filing systems
  • Ad hoc tasks as required.
These key duties are indicative only and do not represent an exhaustive list of responsibilities.

The Clinic Director reserves the right to alter or change the responsibilities at any time, in line with the needs of the Clinic.


Experience:


  • Previous experience in retail, hospitality or a clinic environment would be beneficial.
  • Previous experience using computer software for a business.
  • Previous experience using social media for a business purpose would be an advantage.
2) Strong applicants will be invited for a 10-minute telephone interview to discuss the role in more detail.

4) Second interview will follow where you will meet the additional members of the team, including the Managing Director.

References will be required before the role commences.


Salary:
£12.00 / hour

Holiday cover for your co
- assistant will be required.


Job Types:

Tuesday AM, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and every other Saturday morning.
