Financial Administrator Company
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Financial Administrator to join our Client, a Fund Administration Company in central Brighton.
Brighton office (not hybrid)
Responsibilities:
- Perform daytoday financial administrative tasks, including processing financial transactions, managing invoices, and maintaining accurate records.
- Assist in the preparation and analysis of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Conduct regular reconciliations of financial data to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial information, provide support, and address inquiries or concerns.
- Assist in the preparation of financial documents, presentations, and reports for both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of regulatory and compliance reports as required.
- Monitor and track financial transactions, ensuring they are recorded and documented appropriately.
- Assist with the coordination and execution of audits, providing necessary documentation and information to auditors.
- Stay updated on industry regulations and best practices to ensure compliance and make recommendations for process improvements.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and controls.
- Assist with adhoc financial projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. Relevant professional certifications (e.g., ACCA, CIMA) are a plus.
- Proven experience in financial administration or a similar role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency in financial software systems and tools, with advanced skills in MS Excel.
- Excellent analytical skills and the ability to work with large financial data sets.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial recordkeeping and reporting.
- Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to effectively communicate financial information to various stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
- A proactive mindset with a continuous improvement focus and a commitment to delivering highquality results.
- Knowledge of fund administration and investment operations is desirable but optional.
