Marine Procurement Ltd (MPL) are looking for an Online Sales Administrator to join their Online Sales Team.


MPL are a member of the Edison Chouest Offshore (ECO) Group of companies, who are recognised today as one of the most diverse and dynamic marine transportation solution providers in the world.

ECO operates a growing fleet of well over 200 vessels, ranging from tugs to specialised construction vessels.

The ability to design, build, own, and operate diverse, high-capacity and technologically superior vessels has made ECO an unrivalled leader in the maritime industry.


At MPL, we undertake major procurement activities for the ECO Group, whilst working with our Engineering function to develop and procure major components, systems, and equipment for new building projects.

We also support ECO Operations through the provision of spare parts and technical support.


The Role
The Online Sales Team are responsible for the effective operation of MPL's Online Spares Portal.

Within this team, the Online Sales Administrator is responsible for daily operation of the Spares Portal and ensuring a high level of service is provided to ECO.


The main responsibilities include:

  • Checking Portal orders received from ECO to ensure completeness
  • Placing Portal orders with vendors, whilst ensuring appropriate approvals are in place
  • Monitoring Portal orders and communicating with vendors to ensure on time delivery
  • Preparing commercial paperwork and advising freight forwarders when Portal orders are ready to collect
  • Ensuring Portal order statuses are kept up to date within our ERP system
  • Point of contact for ECO for Portal orders
  • Working with other MPL departments to resolve any issues encountered with Portal orders

Key Skills/Experience

  • Good IT skills and experience using Microsoft software
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Enthusiastic and driven
Due to the rural location of our office, candidtes must have transport


Full Time, Permanent

Hybrid, Monday, Wednesday and Friday office based

Salary will be dependent on your experience
