Morgan McKinley is looking for a Bookkeeper who wants to work for a local family organisation based in the Romsey area in a standalone finance role.
My client offers flexibly around start and finish times.We are looking for someone who is looking to join a supportive family business who are offering a varied Bookkeeping role.
Due to the role supporting the business owner and standalone finance position,the role is office fully office based.This is a permanent role, offered with, 23 days annual leave + Bank holidays, flexible working, free onsite parking and more.
Reporting to the managing Director you will be tasked with the following:
- Managing the full Accounts payable process
- Bank reconciliations
- Managing the Accounts Receivable ledger, keeping on top of monies owed, by raising invoices, liaising with clients, resolving any queries, and building rapport with the clients, chasing for payment, and updating the cash flow reports.
- Update and manage the cash flow daily, keeping the MD and Sales Director updated.
- Monthly payroll for circa 1520 employees, processing weekly timesheets, and ensuring all the information and calculations are accurate and ready for payment.
- Supporting the MD and Operations Director with any finance administration.
- Updating and managing the WIP for the various projects and updating the P&L accordingly, highlighting the project profitability
- Production of month end reporting to the owner and Directors.
- Production of Accruals, journals, prepayments
What you will need:
- Experience in job roles such as; Accounts Assistant/ Assistant Accountant/ Bookkeeper/ SME Finance Manager.
- Ideally studying AAT or AAT qualified or qualified by experience with demonstrable experience.
- Have demonstrable experience in Accounts receivable, Accounts Payable
- Enjoy working in a family run business and keen to work in a vibrant environment, and happy to get involved, to be included and to give recommendations etc.
