We are currently recruiting SELF-EMPLOYED contractors to join our Steel Fixers team on the HS2 project site in Loughborough.Duties:
- Assemble and erect the steel components required to strengthen reinforced concrete structures
- Position, assembling and fixing of different shapes and sizes of steel rebar the correct specification and tolerances
- Interpret contract information, drawings and specifications in order to assemble and install the components correctly
- Ensure health and safety is upheld around the site
- Collaborate with other construction workers to complete projects on time
Requirements:
- Experience working as an steel fixer or in a similar construction role
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights
- Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment
- Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail
- will be great addition but not a must
Job Types:
Full-time, Freelance
Salary:
From £14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
