Description

To work flexibly with other Play Workers and Play Specialists to cover children, young people and families in hospital To provide high quality, holistic play service for all children and their families, enabling them to feel safe and at ease within the hospital environment To ensure that all children and teenagers have appropriate access to play whilst at the hospital.

Working alongside the Play Specialist and Nursing team you will:
Maintain a safe, child-focused environment where play occurs naturally. Provide play for normalisation for children and young people attending hospital. Use your knowledge of child development and through to adulthood when selecting recreational / play activities.

Work alongside and supervise Volunteers and Student nurses where applicable. For further information, please see the attached Job Description and Person Specification.
