We are working with this international law firm with nearly 2000 lawyers across 12 offices.

The firm has grown organically over the years to meet the needs of their clients and now have offices in major business centres in Europe, the Middle & Far East and America.

They are currently recruiting for a Payroll Assistant for their City of London finance team.

The role requires payroll support, processing and analysis to the Finance and Human Resource teams in London and other international offices, as required.


Responsibilities:


  • Assistant with processing the monthly UK and Belgium Payroll
  • Entering manual monthly variable payroll changes i.e. holiday pay, overtime pay and various deductions
  • Running monthly payroll interface
  • Assist with preparation and submission of monthly pension contribution schedule to pension provider
  • Assist with monthly journal to be uploaded into the financial system from a file sent by ADP
  • Monthly reconciliations between payroll and HMRC information for PAYE, NI purposes
  • Assist with yearend preparation of P11D's & PSA
  • Manage all payroll and pension queries coming through on the inbox
  • Provide support with ADP Portal, escalating any issues
  • Produce ad hoc reports of payroll data when needed
  • Ensuring relevant deadlines are met in a timely fashion
  • Ad hoc payroll related work
  • High attention to detail
  • Minimum 12 years Payroll experience
  • CIPP qualification desirable
  • Knowledge of UK payroll related legislation desirable.
