Working as part of the Eastern Pathology Alliance,you will be based at the QEH, you will have the opportunity to work as part of a cutting edge Laboratory encompassing Clinical Biochemistry, Haematology, Transfusion and Andrology.
You do not require any previous experience for this role as we will provide full training, we are looking for dedication,enthusiasm and a willingness to learn.
- As post holder you will support the effective, consistent and efficient running of Spoke Blood Sciences services. Perform a range of routine and non-routine tasks within Specimen Reception and relevant laboratory areas.
Obtain samples for biological testing, perform standard biological tests, process blood and other fluids for analysis ensuring sample integrity is maintained at all times.
This role requires the daily use of the Pathology IT systems to a high level of accuracy when inputting patient information and test data.
