INTRODUCTION
Thank you for expressing an interest in the current vacancy that we have advertised for a Building
Administrator.
The role is for 22-hours a week and is funded by way of a 1-year fixed term employment contract from grant funding received from the Future High Street Funds Front Door Scheme.

The Foundry Sheffield is a registered charity (CIO) which took over the management of the historic City Centre Victoria Hall Methodist Church in the heart of Sheffield in 2015.

JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title:
Building Administrator.
Employed by:
The Foundry Sheffield (CIO Number S1 2JB.
Location:
Victoria Hall Methodist Church, Norfolk Street, Sheffield, S1 2JB.
Responsible to:
The Management Team of the Foundry via a named Line Manager who in this instance is the Foundry Operations and Development Manager.
Purpose of role:
(1) To provide a professional level of general administrative support to the Foundry, as guided by the management team.
(2) To become the consistent and trusted contact for tenants, hirers, and potential users of the Foundry buildings.
Key relationships:
The management, staff, and volunteer team.
Contractors and suppliers.
Users, hirers, guests, and visitors.

- Tenant Relations
Other Requirements:
- Any other requirements and responsibilities that are identified by the Line Manager and that are within the capabilities and level of responsibility of the postholder, and that are in line with the existing and developing needs of the Foundry.
Ongoing Development and Training:
- To fulfil the requirements and development of the role and to maintain professional development there may on occasion be the need to undertake relevant mandatory training, as identified by the Line Manager. Any such training will be undertaken during contracted hours or, if this is not possible, recorded as time off in lieu (TOIL).
Summary of Terms and Conditions:
- This is a parttime fixed term contract post.
- Working hours are 25per week. (to be worked over 4days)
- Rate of pay is £11.51 per hour _(Actual salary for this post is £14963 per annum) _
- Annual leave is 140 hours, inclusive of public holidays.
- It is a requirement that the successful applicant demonstrates their right to live and work within the United Kingdom complying with any request made the Foundry around this.
