Garners News is a family, friendly professional delivery company, providing a newspaper delivery service to Tunbrdge Wells, Sevenoaks and Eastbourne areas.


About the role:

We are looking for 2 enthusiastic delivery drivers, to be part of our growing team of drivers.

The position is based out of our Tunbridge Wells warehouse, but a round could take you to any area of our TN based delivery network.

You would need to be able to self-manage your own time and would be expected to work on your own.


The duties expected within the role:

  • Help packing in the warehouse: inserts or driver rounds.
  • Deliver newspapers to residential house.
  • Cover rounds when required.

About you:


Ideally you need to be enthusiastic, able to work on your won and be of physical fitness as the role will require getting in and out of the van frequently.

Be also flexible enough to be able to do overtime and the potential to help cover other days of the week.

Self learning will be expected while undertaking round cover. Guidance will be given when needed.


The shifts:

The position is based on an employed, part-time role. A base of 25 hours over 4 days. The role split would be either
Saturday to Tuesday or
Wednesday - Saturday. There will always be the opportunity for overtime.


The applicant must:


  • Have your own car/transport to be able to get to work
  • Have a smart phone (iPhone or Android)
  • Be reliable and able to manage your own time
  • Have a clean drivers licence (will be checked)
  • Must be over 25 for use of the company vans

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 20 per week

From £14,300.00 per year
