Salary:
An honorarium of £250 will be made for each set of ten questions developed and signed off.


Purpose


To achieve this, we are looking to recruit seven question writers to develop multiple scenarios that reflect likely situations in practice.


Time commitment and responsibilities

Each questions writer must commit to:

  • Attending a minute virtual training session in late May/June
  • Writing and peer reviewing 10 questions each with a rationale which align to the attributes from the Foundation Trainee Pharmacist Professional Attributes Framework (PAF):
  • Person centred care
  • Multiprofessional working and leadership
  • Profession integrity and ethics
  • Problem solving, clinical analysis and decision making
  • Communication skills
You will need to ensure that you are available from May - November 2024.

Question developers will be instructed by the RPS of the areas of the PAF the questions must assess.


All questions developed will need to be signed off as meeting the RPS question development quality standards prior to being accepted into the question bank.


Criteria

Question writers should meet the following criteria:

  • Registered pharmacist with the GPhC (essential)
  • Currently working in pharmacy practice (essential)
  • Highly organised with the ability to work towards and meet deadlines (essential)
  • Strong written literacy skills (essential)
  • Prior experience of question writing (desirable)
  • Closing date: 6pm on 26/04/2024
