Description
A successful production manufacturing business require a Buyer. Previous purchasing experience within manufacturing and familiarity with an MRP/ERP system would be advantageous.

This is a stand-alone Buyer role working closely with Production and Operations.

Specific duties of the Buyer include:

  • Day-to-day operational supply chain management
  • driving vendors against OTD/OTIF targets
  • Purchase Order Management place and expedite
  • Monitor stock levels
  • Maintain data in MRP system
  • Reporting and process improvement activity

Buyer applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Purchasing experience as a Buyer, Junior Buyer or Senior Buyer
  • Comfortable within a manufacturing or engineering business
  • MRP/ERP literacy
  • Ability to contribute to cost down and savings target
