Nottingham Trent University is looking for hourly paid lecturers in Korean to contribute to the University Language Programme.


The
University Language Programme (ULP) at the Nottingham Institute for Languages and Intercultural Communications within the School of Arts & Humanities provides students and staff across the university, as well as members of the general public, with the opportunity to learn a new language or improve their existing language skills.

Our language courses are designed to build students' ability and confidence to communicate freely in their chosen language.


You will work under the direction of the Programme Manager/Course Leaders for the ULP and the Head of Department of the Nottingham Institute for Languages and Intercultural Communications, in delivering high quality teaching and learning (face-to-face on campus) to undergraduate, postgraduate and external students.

Delivery of classes includes active use of the University's virtual learning platform. Duties will consist of e.g., preparation, delivery, and marking (including moderation and/or second-marking).

Classes are normally two hours in length, and often take place in the evenings.


You will need to be an experienced language teaching specialist, with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to teach a language effectively using a variety of methods.
