Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities.

  • Project Management, including;
o

  • Weekly reports of progress on projects to develop team reporting dashboards
o

  • Risk and Issue tracking and reporting and management
o

  • Plan management, tracking and development
o

  • Escalation of issues and risks
o

  • Cost tracking and forecasting
  • Developing Business Cases for projects
  • Development and Storage or project documentation, e.g. PIDs and Communication Plans
  • Delivery of Technical Projects
  • Support for procurement events
  • Facilitation of technical design and technical decision making
  • Managing risk reduction through project delivery

Knowledge and Experience.

  • At least two years' experience of technical IT project management
  • Knowledge and interest in computer systems and the latest technologies
  • Agile and Waterfall Project Management Techniques
  • Project Risk and Issue Management
  • Project Planning (ideally MS Project)
  • The ability to learn new technologies quickly
  • The ability to communicate complex procedures to other colleagues

Further experience in the following areas would be advantageous.

  • PRINCE 2 Foundation (desirable)
  • ITIL Foundation (desirable)
