We Staff are currently recruiting for 3.5Tonne drivers in Westcott.

This is a fantastic offer working alongside one of our top tier clients in the industry

  • Early starts
  • Staff to be in work between 03:30am 03:45am


  • Late finishes

  • Some shifts could be 8, 9 or 10 hours (sometimes more, sometimes less). It really depends on resource numbers for any given shift.


  • Training

  • Full in depth training off all aspects of the role given which includes the use of a hand held tablet and an in vehicle TomTom device. Once confident and competent then driver will be out solo.


  • Type of work

  • It is a physical job with lots of lifting and maneuvering products with some deliveries up or down flights of stairs.


  • Loading

  • Drivers load their own vehicles once goods have been unloaded from the main trunk vehicle which arrives from head office.


  • Locations

  • We cover a wide delivery area from Westcott including some parts of London so drivers could be sent to different areas on any given shift. Flexibility is needed.


  • Rota

  • A 6 week rolling shift pattern will be given to fall in line with existing staff. We are sometimes flexible with this and it can be altered following consultation.
  • Rate £11.64 per hour


  • Overtime

  • Following a hopefully successful few weeks, potentially there could be the chance to work extra shifts.


  • Induction

  • A small interview will be conducted prior to the induction on the first day.

Experience:

- delivery driving: 1 year (preferred)
