Job Summary

What is the opportunity?
This is 12-month fixed-term role which would suit someone returning to work from a career break.


As a member of the RBC BlueBay Global Business Development team, the role will provide support to the Head of Client Experience and RBC BlueBay's client services framework.

This position will also entail; managing the RBC BlueBay Global Business Development ("GBD") Associates Team.


What will you do?

  • Manage the RBC BlueBay GBD Associates Team, including:
  • Day to day pipeline management, resource management, process establishment and adherence of team;
  • Working in close collaboration with BD colleagues to ensure efficient support of client related queries and tasks across EMEA/APAC;
  • Establishing a clear career trajectory for new joiners within the BD team and/or the wider firm
  • Identifying and creating efficiencies within BD as well as other stakeholders including investment teams, operations, marketing;
  • Supporting smaller BD regional teams with their client relationship management (e.g. Australia, Spain)
  • Provide tactical support to the Head of Client Experience where required including the management of ad hoc projects, management reporting etc.
  • Provision of management reporting in form of CAT dashboards and presentations on a regular basis to the Head of Client Experience/ Head of BD, townhall presentations.

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Previous client relationship experience required;
  • Previous management experience required;
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and interest in investment products and fund structures;
  • Knowledge of RBC BlueBay suite of products
  • Expert level of proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Experience with Salesforce, Coric and Seismic

Nice-to-have:


  • University degree preferred;
