We have a fantastic opportunity available for an experienced Care Assistant to join the dream team at our client's wonderful care home in the rural area of Great Oxendon, Northamptonshire. (Driving Licence is preferred due to the location of the home).

Our client is offering a joining bonus of up to £500 and a great hourly rate of £11.45 per hour.

Must have the right to work in the UK
Compassionate and hardworking carers required to join the like-minded team.


The care home is an excellent residential and dementia home for the elderly, led by their greatly experienced manager who supports all the team, from the carers to the kitchen staff and housekeepers.

The manager is assisted by the deputy manager and team leader to ensure there is always a member of the management team on hand to help every day of the week.

The management team are supported by the qualified and experienced team of carers including the specialist nurses.

The dream team are dedicated to providing their duties to the best of their ability, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

They provide both short-term and long-term residential care for the elderly and those living with dementia, as well as respite care for both elderly people and their carers.

They are committed to making a meaningful difference to the lives of the residents who live at the care home surrounded by fantastic country views in Great Oxendon, Northamptonshire.


About the Role

  • Supporting the physical, emotional, and social wellbeing of our residents by providing the highest standard of care
  • Assisting residents to maintain their personal hygiene
  • Promoting our resident's choice, dignity and independence and all times
  • Maintaining accurate records
  • Assist residents with personal care and daily routines including helping them get in and out of bed, washing, showering and dressing
  • Understanding our resident's communication needs and adapting your communication to each individual, e.g., sounds, tones, body language
  • Working with significant people in our resident's life, such as friends and family, by giving them confidence and reassurance and involving them in our resident's care



Schedule:
Shifts consist of 7am - 7pm (Days) or 7pm - 7am (Nights) on a rota basis.


The residents rely on the commitment and understanding of our dedicated team of carers who provide so much more than just care.

The team are committed to ensuring companionship with residents which is often built by taking part in the activities arranged by the home and supportive management team.


The friendly team work hard to ensure that our residential care home has a homely feel where each individual resident has the opportunity to have input into the activities within the home, menus and décor, among other things so that they are as engaged as possible in what is happening within their home.
