Description

We are working for a well-established company and they are looking for a Finance / Accounts Assistant to join the team working under the Head of Finance.

Accountability / Key Functions

  • All aspects of purchase ledger including processing invoices, raising queries with colleagues &/or suppliers
  • All aspects of sales ledger including raising invoices, answering customer queries & the sending of statements
  • Monthly reconciliation of Paypal & Stripe (card processing) accounts
  • Company credit card administration
  • Check, process & submit expenses
  • Assist with monthend & yearend processes
  • Any reasonable ad hoc duties as required
Personal Attributes

In order to be successful, you will be able to demonstrate

  • Accuracy & attention to detail
  • Strong work experience within a busy finance department
  • Highly organized with an ability to prioritize workload to support the business requirements
  • Experience with Xero / Sage 50 Accounts, Excel & Microsoft Office
Should have

  • Team player with good communication skills
  • Can do attitude
  • Calm under pressure
  • AAT / finance qualifications
