The job itself:

We seek to appoint a Cook to join our enthusiastic team at Pocklington CE Infant School.

This post is to start in September 2023, covering maternity leave.

The post is a temporary, term time only contract, working 30 hours per week, 8am to 2pm, Monday to Friday.


This role will work under the direction of the School Business Manager and Head Teacher, in preparing and cooking the lunch for the pupils, with the assistance of Kitchen Assistants.

We require someone who can work within an established friendly kitchen team, serving tasty food.


The post holder will work in the Kitchen and will be given appropriate training and will be given access to support and guidance.
