New role - Finance Manager, Whiteley / hybrid

Up to £55-72k depending on experience


We're delighted to be partnering with a fast growing and privately owned Services provider following the opening of their newly created Hampshire offices earlier this year.


With ambitious growth plans in place the team are now moving to the next phase of their expansion with the recruitment of a Manager for their Real Estates team.

This key appointment will manage the day-to-day accounting services for the growing Real Estates team, helping to develop an internal Centre of Excellence for the wider Financial Services Group


The Manager will manage, supervise and develop a team to ensure they consistently meet deadlines and provide a first class and highly professional service at all times.

This will include oversees resource planning for team members and participating in accountingrelated projects.


The role

As Finance Manager you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the Head of Jurisdiction to deliver a first-class professional service to clients,
- both internal and external

  • Managing the timely and accurate production of monthly, quarterly and annual financial and
- management reports

  • Managing the timely and accurate production of monthly, quarterly and annual VAT returns and
  • Corporation Tax Returns
  • Managing the client billing process for the team
  • Monitoring the engagement profitability of all team clients
  • Monitoring the quality and service levels of team ensuring adherence to ISAE 3402 requirements
  • Ensuring financial statements prepared are in line with UK GAAP/IFRS or other appropriate
- standards

  • Managing stakeholders' expectations
  • Monitoring all jobs of the client to ensure timely and efficient completion
  • Contribute to business adhoc projects as required to include a Systems implementation
  • Oversight of appraisals for all team members and conduct appraisals for senior members of
- the team

  • Review current workload and resources, coach the team in relation to client activities and in relation to time management and prioritisation skills

About you

  • We're looking for someone who has Qualified within professional practice (top 20 ideally) and is seeking a move into commerce at management level or a manager from a financial services or Real Estate / Construction business.
  • Strong knowledge of IFRS and UK GAAP and a good understanding of UK VAT / CIS is preferred with knowledge of Yardi hugely desirable and experience of integrating new technology or systems into a business unit is a real plus.
  • The manager will offer strong interpersonal skills to include persuading and influencing, leadership, motivation and delegation skills and an ability to manage and resolve difficult client matters
