Our client based in Guildford are seeking a Network Engineer to join their growing company. The purpose of this position is to design, implement, maintain, and support the businesses network infrastructure. The role will involve developing configurationdesigns, testing implementation and integration plans which allow the solution to be delivered. To be considered for this role you will need to be a CCNA qualified engineer.


The Network Engineer position will:

  • Take ownership and monitor the progress of ongoing and escalated cases through to resolution
  • Provide first and second line network infrastructure support
  • Configure and install various network devices and services such as routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers and VPN
  • Plan, design, and implement networked systems
  • Approve changes made to the network infrastructure
  • Monitor performance and ensure system reliability
  • Perform network maintenance
  • Deal with system upgrades including service packs, patches, fixes, and security configurations
  • Provide support and troubleshooting to resolve issues with switching technologies
To be considered for the Network Engineer position you will:

  • Have previous network experience
  • Be a car driver and have access to car
  • Maintain fantastic communication skills
  • Be a team player and make a difference
  • Have WAN and LAN experience
