We specialise in providing high standard Fire Safety and Passive Fire Protection services to top niche clients from a broad number of industries such as Construction, Hotels Sport and Leisure, Housing, Education, Commercial, Manufacturing and Industrial.
What you will do
Delivery Driver Duties to this combined role
- Deliver, collect, & load/offload, General/Construction Materials & Waste (Nationwide/Sitetosite)
- Carryout livesite clearances of General/Construction Materials & Waste with mínimal disruption.
- Plan effective routes if required to do multiple dropsoffs to different sites and contact sites/office and keep good & live communications of ETA's.
- Report and liaising with warehouse, procurement, and office management in line with role duties.
- Maintain and arrange skips within company yard prevent overfill and sideloading.
- Managing and sorting of timber, metal and general waste skips processing/removing ironmongery & hardware from waste timber doors ensuring strict material segregation is achieved for correct waste management services.
- Yard/carpark areas are regularly kept maintained and clean, free from debris and foliage buildup.
- Conducting regular stock takes.
- Receiving & Booking items in/out and updating digital inventory management system and liaising with warehouse and procurement depts.
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
- Picking goods and palletising/prepping for delivery/collection or shipment.
- Keeping warehouse tidy, maintained and safe to use.
- Assisting in firedoor assembly production to meet orders completion of whole doorsets.
- Reading and confirming the parts list, measurements, and verifying specifications.
- Supporting the team to ensure no production down time, that customers' orders go out on time and that quality of the final products are of the highest quality.
- Keeping records of material shortages & spares of items conducting stock takes
- Liaising with suppliers about deliveries and discrepancies in stock
What we are looking for
- Partial or similar previous experience in either of the following:
- _Doors or Windows works, Factory, Benchwork, Carpentry or Fabrication works_
- Positive attitude, friendly persona, & professional approach to client and product care
- Excellent allround communication
- Reliable and hardworking person who can lead by example
- Good organisational skills able to manage own workload and work to deadlines under pressure
- Utilising hand tools/machinery (Training given) with a strong focus towards quality and safety.
- Good attention to detail, willing to learn & quick learner
- Punctual & attentive, good time management and prioritizing
- Ability to work as part of a team & be a strong friendly 'Team Player'
- Be a meticulous, methodical worker with good attention to detail.
- The initiative to work independently, result led, proactive and driven approach required with the aim to succeed within a demanding and fast paced environment.
- An understanding of the importance of data confidentiality
