A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to join the Health and Safety team at Oceanarium Bournemouth and Nickelodeon Land (Lakeside), based at Oceanarium Bournemouth (some travel will be required between the two sites)
We are looking for someone who can share their passion, vision and work ethic, to make a real, positive difference and organisational impact within the Health and Safety agenda.
- To provide health and safety support to staff and others as necessary.
- Input and manage data entry onto company software reporting systems.
- To assist in the undertaking of risk assessments throughout the parks.
- To report and assist staff to report health & safety incidents on the company incident reporting tool.
- Assist, when necessary, with incident investigations and provide reports & updates as necessary.
- To assist with the undertaking of inspections/audits as necessary to ensure the workplace is deemed fit for purpose and to reduce the element of risk to all concerned.
- To play an active part in the parks Health and Safety Committee and any other Health and Safety Meetings.
- To undertake any other such duties as deemed appropriate by the Health and Safety Manager.
- Preferably hold a NEBOSH general certificate or equivalent or willing to work towards.
- Having a working knowledge of Microsoft office and the ability to input, analyse and present data accurately.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to prioritise their own workload to ensure deadlines are met and work is of an appropriate standard.
- Current driver's licence.
