The Caretech children's services, is one of the largest providers of specialist residential services for children and young people in the UK, delivering across Special Residential Care Homes.
They understand the challenges and rewards of working with our young people and know that every day they will achieve things that really matter.
Supporting our Children's Services across the UK, you'll spend time developing and maintaining our operational policies, keeping abreast of development within the sector, supporting the management of quality assurance, inspection and audit processes providing on going quality and safety of our CareTech children's services.
This is no ordinary role. The pace is fast. There's lots of variety.
And you'll need to be able to build strong working relationships with Key stakeholders and colleagues across The CareTech Group.
Offering lots of autonomy, your role will involve excellent relationships, are established and maintained with key external regulatory bodies in particular Ofsted, CIW, CIS and CQC, working with internal colleagues ensuring that policies, procedures, practice and compliance are developed and are up to date, in the needs of the Company's mission, aims and objectives.
Everything you do will be fair, consistent and thorough, so we can make the right decisions for our children and the young people in our care.
Main Purpose of the role
As a member of the C&Q Team for Caretech you will play a key role in supporting our operational divisions (both children's and adults) in their delivery of excellent care and education.
A real team player, you should also be:
- Suitability qualified with a level 5 in management and leadership within a similar environment
- Proven record of accomplishment for successfully, working across organisational services within operational policy within children's services
- Excellent knowledge of Expolink, NYAS, ICHA, NASS and DfE
- An analytical mind, methodical approach and keen attention to detail
- Good prioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines
- The flexibility to travel across the location, staying overnight where needed
- The ability to put people at ease, gather vital information and maintain confidentiality.
- This post will require National travel, therefore a car driver is essential._
