Due to continued success, we are looking for an experienced Transport Planner based at our Warrington site to join our growing Transport department.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, confident and hardworking individual who enjoys the daily challenges of working in a busy transport department, must be able to work as part of a successful team as well as using your own initiative.

To assist with the day to day running of a busy transport office, liaising with customers and drivers, efficient vehicle planning, Ability to work in a pressured environment.

• Planning of Network/General deliveries
• Planning Collections
• Booking in of Network/General deliveries
• Liaising with delivery points
• Assist with general admin duties
• Managing and Debriefing drivers
• Meeting on a regular basis with Line managers to ensure that we are operating efficiently
• Monitoring timed delivery performance
• Working towards agreed KPI's

• Previous experience of working within a similar role in the logistics industry
• Experience in Pallet Networks
• Have a good understanding of legal compliance, driver's hours and WTD'S
• Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written
• IT literate including MS office
• Geographical Knowledge

• Monday to Friday (hours to be agreed) 45 hours per week
