Within Jaguar Land Rover Manufacturing, Stamping Manufacturing Engineering is taking the next step in our journey to delivering world class levels of quality.

As proud creators of modern luxury we will be driving for built in quality from 'clay to pallet', through managing the development, manufacture and successful launch of tooling and equipment into nominated press facilities.

A first step in providing the foundation for Jaguar Land Rover's drive towards world class BIW quality and cost performance.


The Tooling & Process Delivery teams take full budgetary and delivery responsibility for the production process, die design, and manufacture of press tooling.

The team are engaged from concept process / feasibility handover (EO) through to the home line commissioning and vehicle launch (J1#), responsible for tooling performance and part quality, including the dimensional and cosmetic acceptance.

This will all be achieved through closer collaboration between our Engineering teams in Gaydon, our external suppliers and our Press shop Operations teams.

All governed through the Technology Forum process, with the aim of transforming our business aligned with our Refocus business priorities.


The role provides an excellent opportunity to raise your profile at Jaguar Land Rover, and experience first-hand the full scope of Global Manufacturing Stamping Engineering in a large and complex arena with a broad spectrum of cross-functional touchpoints and Stakeholders.


You will be the Finance SAP specialist within the Stamping Engineering Group and will act as the financial support to the delivery manager.

You will need to prepare and present financial information such as forecasts, budgets, and business plans to ensure strategic objectives are met, as well as deliver financial reports to senior management team to inform key business decision-making and strategic business planning.

Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Collating and tracking of programme metrics
  • Liaise with Forward planning teams to monitor cost program status ahead of handover.
  • Creation of shopping carts in SAP and tracking of project funds
  • Manage the delivery of JIRA tickets and escalate as required to the relevant governance forums
  • Focus on costreduction initiatives
  • Support business initiatives such as Manufacturing changes and process improvements.
  • Support the Finance program teams for cost per unit/projects across vehicle production and other Production related projects
  • Maintenance of the programme Capex costs decks.
  • Tracking adherence of ongoing engineering change control
  • Collating and tracking of programme metrics
  • Support investment events/forums for manufacturing projects from a financial point of view.
  • Provide financial advice & support to Project Teams.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED


As a Tooling and Process Delivery Coordinator, you will have a thorough understanding of SAP as well as sound financial and commercial business acumen shown through evidence of developing, and introducing new or innovative practices/processes in support of strategic business goals.

Knowledge, Skills and Experience


Essential:

  • Ability to multitask, work accurately at speed and under pressure balancing delivery of conceptual work with attention to detail and hands on delivery
  • Supplier and financial audit experience
  • Exceptional numerical, analytical skills supported by communication and presentation skills

Desirable:

  • Continuous improvement 'mind set' with the ability to identify and implement robust solutions and enhancements
  • Knowledge and familiarity with key processes, facilities and technologies used throughout the pressed parts process chain.
  • Degree qualified or equivalent experience preferred
