The client are looking for a Legal Coordinator / PA, to support two of our in-house Legal teams: Programme Legal Advice and Employment

The Legal Division is led by the General Counsel's Office and is responsible for providing legal advice to the business and for developing and implementing the company legal strategy.

The Legal Division is made up of the following departments:

General Counsel's Office, Information Rights, Intellectual Property, Employment, Litigation, Programme Legal Advice, Commercial & Technology, Distribution and Competition and Regulatory Law.

The overall structure is similar to that found in private practice firms. Supporting a wide range of diverse matters, the work can be challenging and fast-paced.

Main Responsibilities


This is a busy role and you will be expected to organise yourself, work closely with the Legal Business Partner and other Legal Coordinators and be proactive/self-starting as regards matters in your remit.

You will be required to support other Legal teams from time to time, covering for absences.


You will be expected to be in the office at least 2 days per week, with the rest remote working.

The expected office days will be Wednesday and Thursday though you will need to be adaptable.

Required experience

  • Excellent legal administrative and legal secretarial/legal team assistant/ legal PA experience (preferably gained within an 'inhouse' legal environment, though not essential)
  • Experienced in working under pressure to tight deadlines and demonstrate excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of using a legal document management system and maintaining a database
  • Experience of monitoring and preparing reports and status updates
  • Experience of collating information relating to cases and monitoring team deadlines to ensure timely delivery of reports
  • Good document formatting experience using Word is essential, as is an advanced knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook and Powerpoint).
  • Knowledge of iManage Filesite and Sharepoint is advantageous but not essential.
  • Experience of managing a rota would be advantageous
