Axcis Education is currently seeking a passionate and experienced behaviour mentor to join our team in Trafford.

This exciting opportunity involves working within an educational establishments within Trafford, dedicated to supporting children who have been excluded from school or are at risk of exclusion.

If you have a strong background in managing challenging behaviour and a genuine desire to make a positive impact on the lives of young people, we would be delighted to hear from you.


Key Responsibilities:
Provide personalised mentoring and assistance to students who exhibit challenging behaviour.
Collaborate with the school and other professionals to develop and implement tailored behaviour plans.
Cultivate a positive and inclusive learning environment that nurtures growth.
Encourage student engagement and foster personal development.
Work alongside teachers, parents, and external agencies to devise effective strategies.


Requirements:

Previous experience dealing with challenging behaviour in an educational or youth work environment.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in implementing behaviour management strategies and adapting them to meet individual needs.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to remain composed in difficult situations.
Possession of a valid DBS certificate or willingness to obtain one.
