Description
Coordinate and chair network-wide Histology training meetings Develop and maintain links to professional bodies (i.e. IBMS, HEE) and Higher Education Institutions Together with the Histology Management teams, develop the training portfolio for the Histology to meet workforce demands. Supervise and monitor trainee BMS staff completing the HCPC certificate of competence. Monitor and support progress of IBMS specialist and other portfolio candidates Mentor and support apprenticeship candidates In conjunction with discipline leads ensure the establishment, implementation and maintenance of training and competency programs, including competency re-assessment for all grades of staff within Histology
