You'll need energy, enthusiasm, lots of ideas, creativity and a strong writing style.

We are looking for a highly driven
News Reporter who wants to break exclusives, get at the stories that really matter to the communities we serve and get every story they write read by the biggest possible audience.

Fresh ideas and new perspectives from a wide range of backgrounds are at the heart of what we do - and if you feel under-represented in the media, then we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

What will the role involve?
Finding and telling stories and features about London and the 9m people who call this amazing city home.

Engaging with as many readers as possible, building communities online and in real life where stories can be shared.

Telling stories in many different ways from live blogs to Facebook Lives.

Ensuring every piece of content is thoroughly researched, balanced and legally safe prior to publication.

Who are we looking for?

You are observant, hard working and full of original ideas, with an awareness of what counts as quality digital storytelling.

You will have an NCTJ-accredited journalism qualification or similar and will use it to generate content which engages local audiences and meets the standards set by Reach.

We want you to tell us the stories you believe are important from our many diverse communities as we seek to grow new audiences.

A driving licence is preferable but not crucial to this role.
