Production Assistant required for meat manufacturing company in Drighlington, Bradford BD11.
Reporting to the Production Manager, the applicant must be an 'all rounder' with good communication skills and the ability to work to deadlines, paying attention to accuracy and detail.
The position is a supporting role to the Production Manager assisting with activities on the production floor, including running of the production equipment, packing goods, maintenance and cleaning activities.
Some supervision of production staff, liaison with office staff and delivery drivers.Must be reliable, flexible, organised and able to work as part of a team, and manage own workload.
A clean driving licence preferred. Basic forklift skills preferred, though training will be given.
