Job Description:


As part of our ambitious plans for Version 1 to be the leading Cloud Transformation and Digital Engineering company in the UK and Ireland (with planned expansion into additional geographies) we are looking to appoint market leading talent that can help accelerate our business growth with Amazon Web Services (AWS).


The AWS Hub is Version 1's Centre of Excellence with a full accountability for the development of Version 1 strategic direction with AWS including agreement of business plan and strategic collaboration agreements, investments in scaling and accelerating our growth together, articulating the roadmap and innovations we are working together on and leading the collaboration and communication of our AWS initiatives across the company and to our customers on a regular basis.


Role


As an AWS Partner Alliance Lead you will support the UK AWS Partner Commercial Lead in establishing and maintaining Version 1 as the partner of choice in AWS for our strategic ISP's.

You will help develop, map and maintain broad and deep relations with AWS in all solutions areas.

You will be knowledgeable of their propositions, their markets, their business challenges, and their motivators.

You will assist in the development and execution of joint Version 1 / AWS strategies and GTM initiatives.


You will co-ordinate with our AWS Partner Hub and other internal resources to help formulate business plans that drive the strategy.


Key Responsibilities

  • Work with AWS to understand their business needs and objectives and identify offerings that align with Version 1 sectors and Integrated service propositions (ISPs). This will be done in conjunction the AWS Partner Hub.
  • Develop excellent relationships with key partner stakeholders, ensuring Version 1 is amplified in the most compelling way within AWS.
  • Increase awareness within Version 1 regarding the benefits of working closely and collaboratively with our strategic partner.
  • Work closely with commercial teams to understand and drive partner funding initiatives through to a successful conclusion.
  • Closely monitor consumption and rebate revenue and identify ways to increase same.
  • Identify partner accreditation and certification opportunities that underpin and endorse our offerings.
  • Maintain a schedule of partner accreditation and certification audits and communicate the requirements for same to the Head of the AWS Partner Hub.
  • Be accountable for the successful execution of the partner accreditation and certification audits.
  • Be accountable for the successful operation of the AWS Partner Center Hub and for Pipeline updating.
  • Monitor and analyse partner performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Contribute to reporting and business reviews with senior management teams.
  • Support Partner Based Marketing activities.
  • Ensure that the partner marketplace is refreshed regularly with our offerings.
  • Assist with the formulation of winwires and partner award submissions.

Qualifications:


  • Experience in the technology industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to analyse data and identify trends.
  • Proven track record in developing and implementing successful partner programs (preferable).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally, as needed.
