Axon Moore are supporting a large international business based near Huddersfield in the appointment a Group Finance Manager.

The Group Finance Manager role will have significant progression opportunities once in the role, plans for this person to be promoted to the next level in the future.

The key roles and responsibilities for this person will include:

Delivery and execution of all group financial and management reporting on a monthly basis
Business partnering and acting as the main Head Office contact for a range of finance and nonfinance stakeholders across the Group which consists of multiple subsidiaries
Analysing key variances in relation to business performance and improvement area
Managing a team of 2 direct reports
Production of the Group's annual budget process, including presentation to the wider Group finance team
Preparation of yearend Group statutory accounts and other Head Office holding companies, in accordance with IFRS
Lead all aspects of accounting Head Office holding companies, including monthly reporting and statutory accounts preparation
Qualified Finance Leader, preferably ACA or ACCA from a Practice background
Strong technical accounting experience, ideally within a Group or Head Office function
Managerial experience of leading and developing other finance staff
Strong business partnering experience, with a track record of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders
