Paston Ridings Primary School are seeking to appoint a Catering Assistant to join our team of Catering Staff in our friendly, dynamic and successful school.

We are committed to providing the best possible quality meals for our children and staff and we are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team of Catering staff.

The role of Catering Assistant will include:

• general kitchen duties including taking out rubbish, putting washing on.

- assisting in basic food preparation production including labeling salad bar
- topping up desert trolley as and when required
- collecting all plates, cups, and cutlery
- using the dishwasher to ensure all plates, pots, cutlery, cups and pans are cleaned to an acceptable standard.
- maintaining a high standard of kitchen hygiene within the kitchen, ensuring the working area is kept checked and cleaned as required during duty.

• Preparing Hall for service (e.g. moving tables)

In accordance with Keeping Children Safe in Education, the school will consider.
