Description
We are looking for a bright Mechanical Design Engineer to join one of the UK's leading Technology Development Companies. This job will suit someone with a background in the design of complex instrumentation within a high technology industry.

The Mechanical Engineer will focus on development of innovative products that transform the market, making a contribution to advanced technology and engineering design.

Mechanical Design Engineer's Requirements
A 1st class or Upper 2nd BEng/MEng degree from a leading university in mechanical engineering or related discipline.

Recent and relevant hands-on Mechanical Design experience of products / complex mechanical systems development from concept to manufacturing, good understanding of wide range of manufacturing techniques.

A very strong understanding of mechanical engineering fundamentals including analytical, theoretical, experimental and creative capabilities.
Extensive background in 3D CAD (ideally including Solidworks)
Ability to build, test and troubleshoot as well as present ideas though sketches or animations.
A strong ability to communicate the value of your work confidently and authoritatively to senior business leaders across client organisations


Salary:
Excellent Salary+ Bens, a good relocation package is available (if applicable)
