Job Description:


We have an exciting job opportunity suited for an administrative person with excellent organisation skills to step into a logistic management and rostering role as a Care Scheduler.


Drivers only due to rural locations. Previous experience in Health and Social care co-ordination preferable but not essential.

What does a Care Scheduler role involve:

  • Dealing with job allocation, inputting both client and Care Professional information and daily roster changes
  • Ensuring client visits are allocated to a Care Professional within their care team
  • Ensuring systems have updated and correct availability and inputting holiday.
  • Forward planning of rosters working at 2 weeks in advance
  • Taking the oncall phone on a rota basis.

Qualifications:


  • Communication is essential for the Care Scheduler, so you will need to be able to remain calm, be patient and an excellent listener whilst always remaining professional.
  • People skills will be required to build strong professional relationships with the Care Professional team
  • A willingness to learn computer systems and mobile handset technology.
