Receptionist - Part Time

Central Manchester

£15,288


We have a fantastic part time opportunity for an experienced and immaculately presented front of house receptionist to work as part of a job share team.


We are looking for someone with personality and enthusiasm to 'own' the reception and help drive a sense of community in the building.

You should enjoy taking ownership and working independently, whilst also supporting the building management team.

The fabulous boutique office building is located minutes from Manchester Victoria Station.


The hours and salary

Hours:
Wednesday - Friday 8.30am - 5.00pm


Salary:
£15,288 per annum. (£11.53 per hour)


Key Responsibilities:


Reception responsibilities

  • Meeting and greeting all visitors to the building to ensure a warm welcome
  • Managing deliveries including couriers and post
  • Managing the access system, creating access cards, and running reports as and when required
  • Work collaboratively with the reception team based in the adjacent building
  • General administration as required

The building

  • Support the Building Manager by capturing, reporting and managing building issues
  • There is some vacant space, so you will support the sales and leasing agents, ensuring vacant area is looking pristine and ensure a hospitable welcome to potential new occupiers
  • Manage contractors visiting the building to carry out maintenance or repairs
  • You will pay particular attention to the security of the building
  • Produce a weekly update report for key stakeholders

Tenant engagement

  • You will research and introduce (when applicable) concierge/added value initiatives aimed at delivering a community vibe and offering activities to increase enjoyment during the working day. This may include negotiating freebies or local discounts with businesses and popup activity

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise:


  • Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service.
  • Excellent communication skills, written and verbal
  • A confident user of Microsoft Office and be willing to learn any inhouse systems
  • You will enjoy working independently and as part of a team
  • You will previously have worked in a front of house reception role in a corporate office environment
