MJ Children's Services provides residential and support services for young people who are looked after by the Local Authorities. We are a well established and expanding small company, operating in the Peterborough area since 1999.

The emphasis of our work is to provide a safe and nurturing environment, to enable young people to deal with their current issues and move forward into a more productive and positive future.

The young people we care for have experienced a traumatic and neglectful early life, which presents through the emotional and behavioural difficulties they display.

We understand the importance placed on our role as attachment figures, working to the therapeutic B.E.A.C.O.N model to provide love, care and support to our young people.

We are looking for a Team Leader to join our staff team, working across our home in Coates, Peterborough and Spalding.

Previous experience is necessary (minimum of 1 year's experience in a similar role) as well as a completed Level 3 NVQ Qualification in Residential Childcare - a certificate of completion would need to be available during the interview stage, as well as identification documentation.

A FULL UK Manual Driving licence is essential for this role, any applicants without this may not get a response due to this being a requirement

The role will include working on average 8 to 10 shift (24.5 hour) per 28-days on a cyclical rota system.

You will also be required to complete 4 on-calls per 28-day period.

Payment is broken down into hourly rate pay, sleep in allowance and on-call payments which totals the equivalent Salary mentioned above.
