OVERVIEW
The Role
The position/s are for enthusiastic and motivated Associate Directors (or those ready to make the step to Associate) who will take on Project Management roles within our Infrastructure portfolio.
Applicants need to be client focused with a positive and proactive attitude, excellent communication skills and happy to work as part of a team.
The role/s will be based in our Major Programmes team and work closely with our EIA Infrastructure team and Project Management Office.
They will also work with other specialist business units (including Acoustics, Air Quality, Digital Delivery, Ecology and Construction Environmental Management) and a wide range of external partners to deliver across a range of projects.
They will also be expected to have excellent report writing, communication and client liaison skills with a keen eye for detail.
They will have a positive attitude towards business development and to assisting with the training / mentoring of junior members of the team.
years of professional experience- relevant and transferrable experience of project management for professional services, preferably in consultancy, with large value contracts
- demonstrable client-facing and project delivery experience
- demonstrable experience with project contracts and commercial management
- demonstrable experience managing development projects
- good understanding of and experience with MS Excel
- show initiative, have a strong work ethic and be organised, flexible and motivated
- be confident, enthusiastic and outgoing with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, having the ability to liaise at all levels
- be degree educated
- an interest in environmental planning/management and/or sustainability
- advanced project management qualifications, such as APM PMQ, Prince2 Practitioner etc.
- a track record of delivering successfully to clients in transport infrastructure
- experience with NEC contracts
- people management experience
- advanced MS Excel skills
- excellent report writing skills
Location:
London, Manchester and others considered.
Salary:
Salary range is dependant on experience.
Temple has offices in London, Haywards Heath, Lewes, Lichfield, Manchester, Norwich and Wakefield.
