The Opportunity


We're looking for a dedicated individual to come and join our thriving marketing agency as a Social Media & Admin Support Assistant.

The role will allow you to not only support clients based in the North East, but also all across the UK.


The Role In Brief


After initial training, you will work closely with the rest of the team, specifically our Social Media Account Managers, to provide support in implementing their client's packages.

This will include tasks such as generating content ideas, populating content calendars, scheduling content and creating reports.


You will assist with monitoring social platforms and engage with comments, messages and potential customers for our clients, making sure to pass any important information to them where necessary.


There will also be opportunities to get involved with content creation if you have the required skill set, or to have training on other areas of the business.


Responsible For

  • Taking briefs/requests from clients and passing them to the relevant team member and then ensuring they are delivered on time.
  • Creating content calendars.
  • Writing captions and scheduling content.
  • Monitoring social platforms.
  • Performing outreach on behalf of the client.
  • Working with the rest of the team on new business activities where relevant.
  • Maintaining accurate records of work and completing monthly reports for clients.
  • Researching and writing blogs on behalf of the company and our clients.

Skills & Experience
We are looking for somebody to join the business that shares the hunger we do for success and growth.

Experience in a similar role isn't vital, but the desire to learn, grow and help the business is important, but there are some skills which will be required in order to complete the role.


  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbally and written.
  • Knowledge of how social media works for businesses (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, TikTok, Pinterest all channels).
  • Confidence to research clients and industries before making recommendations.
  • Ability to understand and interpret a brand's tone of voice to effectively copy write/creatively write.
  • Organised, with strong attention to detail and time management.
  • Ability to multitask and juggle various projects.
  • Proactive, continually learn and develop for both personal and professional growth.
  • Selfstarter, we don't believe in micromanagement.

In Return

  • Initial starting salary of £18,000 £20,000 DOE (prorata for part time hours).
  • Hybrid Working; you'll be working from home 99% of the time, but will need to visit clients in and around the North East and attend team meetings in Newcastle.
