Exciting opportunity for self-development and growth with an established main contractor.

We are currently looking to hire enthusiastic and reliable General Operatives to work predominantly on domestic refurbishment and alteration projects across Herts/Beds/Bucks and North London.

  • This is a
    Self Employed role working Mon
  • Fri 08:00 to 16:30
  • You will be working as a part of a wider team carrying out predominantly domestic refurbishment works in both occupied and unoccupied properties. A high standard of work is expected on all projects.
  • Internal and external work.
  • Ability to work and communicate with multiple subcontractors and direct labour across various sites.
  • Understand construction schedules and programmes to ensure effective delivery.
  • Comply with Health & Safety protocols on active projects.
  • Some Construction Experience preferred
  • Evidence of previous Health & Safety training beneficial
  • Be located within a 20mile radius of office location (Harpenden) travel to multiple sites during a working week is required.
  • Experience of working on Insurance damage related projects desirable
  • Be reliable and have excellent timekeeping
  • Must be presentable and able to communicate at all levels.
  • Be selfmotivated desire to succeed whilst also being a team player.
  • Must have own basic tool kit, safety boots and work wear.
  • Will need own Public Liability Insurance to provide a
    minimum of £5million of cover:
