GTEC Metal Fabrication Ltd offer bespoke, high end metal fabrication services to industry. We are searching for a metal fabricator/welder who can confidently see the fabrication process through from start to finish.

The right individual must understand engineering drawings, pay close attention to detail, enjoy finishing works to a high standard, take pride in their work and must have good time keeping.

The main purpose of the role is to receive engineering drawings from the sales engineers and to plan and fabricate the works to the given timeframe.

This will include the following responsibilities;

Interpreting drawings
Predominantly working with Mild Steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel
Cutting materials within the design tolerances
Folding materials within the design tolerances
MIG & TIG Welding
Finishing to a high standard
Operating machinery* including CNC, Press Brake, Punch
Storing and preparing finished works for despatch

- *Training provided on how to operate all machinery listed. Previous experience operating similar machinery is required._

Previous experience of 4+ years as a Metal Fabricator/Welder is essential. Experience working on bespoke, high-end fabrications is preferred.

Hours: 08:00 - 17:00 (Start/Finish times negotiable)

Holiday: 21 Days

Salary:
From £16.50 per hour

Expected hours:
No less than 40 per week
