You will be based in the Anaesthetics Department at Bradford Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust carrying out general Anaesthetic duties.

Emergency Duties The Department of Anaesthetics has two Consultant Anaesthetists on call each night, one to cover the Critical Care Unit and one to cover acute theatre work and Obstetrics.

Clinical Duties The post holder will maintain the highest clinical standards in Anaesthesia. Work closely with colleagues to share the provision of Anaesthetic advice to all inpatients.

To work with colleagues, both medical and nursing to improve and advance the service. To share with colleagues the responsibility for the management of the Department. Teaching and training of trainees, junior medical staff, nursing staff, primary care colleagues and medical students. To have responsibility for ensuring active participation in continuing professional development (CPD).
