Are you an experienced IT Security Analyst/SOC Analyst? Do you have previous commercial of security incident and event management, cyber security principles, vulnerability management and network security controls? Let Informed Recruitment help you to achieveyour potential with an exciting opportunity for an IT Security Analyst to provide your expertise to a modernising organisation undergoing a significant amount of change and project work.

The contract is offered on an inside IR35/umbrella basis for an initial6-month contract with scope to extend.

Your responsibilities will include the build, deployment, support and incident response for SIEM services; providing a security incident response service; driving continuous improvement; building, supporting, integrating new and existing SIEM and IDS/IPS technologiesas required; enhancing stability and service; making changes to the SIEM infrastructure in line with agreed business processes and ITIL best practice; investigate security alerts and review vulnerabilities against these networks; engage with and manage stakeholders;issue resolution activities; service improvement processes and initiatives; and dealing with security related alerts/events and SIEM deployments as necessary.

Must Have

Previous and tangible commercial IT Security / SOC experience
An understanding of Cyber Security Principles
Knowledge and experience working with SIEM, Vulnerability Management systems, Managed Security Service Providers
Working knowledge of network security controls: IPS, Web Proxy, DLP technologies

Nice to Have / Will Strengthen Application

Experience working with Fortinet products
FortiGate, FortiSandbox, FortiAnalyzer
An understanding of Azure Security principles
Experience with NAC solutions
Forescout
Experience with PAM solutions
Cyberark
Experience of working with antivirus solutions
